Well, I am back in Berlin until August,  so enjoy the upcoming impressions of those incredible doors of Germany´s capital….The other day when I was in the library hunting for door books (very few out there), I did find a curious littlel volume about doors in Austria.  It is called “Door and Gate” (“Tür und Tor” written by Johann Kräftner and Jutta Schutting, publ. by NeuÖsterreich Pressehaus in the 90s) and in its introduction I found an interesting paragraph by a well known architect, Rob Krier (who now works in Berlin strangely enough) .
