Dublin Door Medley

One of the few "white" doors I have seen in Dublin

I like them old and sleezy too
I spent 3 months on the Green Isle and Dublin is of course famous not only for a good Guinness, but its colorful doors. After walking those Dublin Streets again and again it finally dawned on me why the painted doors. My guess: if your entrance did not show a certain color, you´d never find your home again. Rows and rows of brick houses, 3 – 4 stories in the posh South Dublin or rows of rows of brick homes, 2 stories, in the poorer North Side of Dublin. You may have seen similar phenomenon in Philadelphia or Baltimore. Well, when all the houses look the same, you got to make yours distinctive. That is my take on the whole thing about the colorful doors of Dublin.

Blue and yellow makes green. This couple is not far from Dame Street
