You can find great stuff in some parts of Delhi, the good thing being that if you look for something like paint or wood, there usually is a whole street full of paint or wood shops, or a whole silver road or whatever you need. The disadvantage being if you need a variety of stuff at once, you have to travel wide and far. Should you be needing the oh-so important hinges, door knockers, knobs and drawer handles, you come to Paharganj. This is a bit of a hippy area and besides lots of little coffee shops, bronze and fabric shops, you can delight your interior decorators’s heart and leave contented. What do you think?

Doors and Humanity
One of the reasons I enjoy beautiful doors is that it gives me a sense of humanity: somebody really made an extra effort here where it was not at all required. I strongly admire anyone whose life represents an attitude of
