Who doesnt love a great door?

Call me a door darling. I love doors and want to share my enthusiasm.

I have lived in Spain, Ireland, USA, Germany and India. Currently (2009) I am in Delhi. I have always come across amazing doors and it is time for sharing. I would like to inspire you to slow down a bit and look around, doing a little less daydreaming and less stressing out.  To me a great door lets me assume someone grandiose and interesting  lives behind or something fantastically beautiful lies beyond. How I wish I had x-ray vision to have a peek.  I am especially in awe of the artisians who made these doors.  Unfortunaly no one today seems to care to make them, or has the money to afford them anymore.

Dont expect to get exact locations or the exact name of the building, I am happy to have a camera at hand when I see another stunning entrance. There are many intruiging things I would like to to spin off on with this blog such as poems, books and movie titles, phrases, and what not. All the photos you see on this site are actually taken by yours truly. There are plenty of door freaks on flickr and face book and you name it, so we are a group of people who really see something in and through a door.
